Also this training is different. You will start thinking differently, feeling differently, listening differently and seeing things differently.
It allows you to discover and develop your intuitive knowledge. You will know without learning, listen without hearing, see without looking and accomplishing things without doing.
Crucial for today’s professionals is that they realize that they are a human being and a ‘human doing’. And that they can shift conciously between doing (action) and being (reflection).
Exactly this is at the core of the training Mindfulness-Based Professional Effectiveness (MBPE).
CONTENT
You learn to shift focus between our three basic regulatory systems:
- The risk system: focused on self protection.
- The hunt system: focussed on satisfaction and reward
- The care system: focussed on brotherhood and safety.
You learn to motivate with compassion. To really pay attention. To feel, think, reason, visualize, listen and act differently. Mind/Heartful.
TRAINING SET-UP
The program typically covers a period of 4-5 month. A total of 10 full days. 9 mornings of skill training and 9 afternoons of further deepening and broadening in practice plus 1 full training day in silence. The 9 mornings and afternoons can be held with intervals of one or two weeks. During the morningsessions you learn to address, extend and shift your attention via meditation exercises . Also you learn about stress reduction, be more attentive, become more aware how you think and how habits in the way you think and act evolve. In the afternoons you are invited and stimulated to put it all into practice. Your own meditation experiences are at the core of your mindfulness exercises, including your reflection on these experiences. The training calls for participants to exercise 30 minutes per day. We work with a reader and audio material. Fully individually synchronized with every participant’s learning phase and his or her organizational specifics.
From our perspective, the link is that we’re all busy; we’re all racing to solve challenges. We are addicted to getting things done. One has to learn how to drop the old habits however, the old ideas, the old concepts and it’s like taking a pause from the business of today, a gap in your mind from the train of thoughts. That’s what meditation allows you. It gives you tools and techniques to pause. Stillness is so accurate.
